Meshcore Network Presets

Enabling MeshCore on your Blackout Comms Device

  • Add a MeshCore Network by going to: Settings / MeshCore / Network

  • Change your device network under Settings / Mesh / Network, and select BC via MeshCore or MeshCore​

Enabling BC via MeshCore keeps all of Blackout Comms' security, but leverages MeshCore repeaters when possible.

 

Enabling MeshCore setting lets you message anyone else in a MeshCore channel, even non-Blackout Comms users, but offers much lower security.

Built-In Presets

Choose one of these to save time and use known-good settings for your region. These should match MeshCore repeaters in your area.

USA/Canada

910.525 MHz / 62.5 kHz / SF7 / CR5

USA/Canada Wide

910.525 MHz / 250 kHz / SF7 / CR11

​

EU/UK Narrow

869.618MHz / 62.5kHz / SF8 / CR 8

More pre-configured networks are available in the firmware as well. Customizable settings are coming soon.
