ChatterBox is now Blackout Comms
Things are Changing Rapidly!
You may have noticed the name change, as the ChatterBox name is being retired.
Blackout Comms is more fitting and reflects the fact that these devices are designed to work in a communication blackout.
Additionally, the original full touchscreen device I designed a PCB and hand-selected components for nearly a year ago has finally gained FCC approval!
The Altware Blackout Comms Link (formerly called “nodes”) will be the first device offered for sale under that approval, with the communicator soon after.
Going forward (at the request of some folks), the device formerly known as “Node” will become “Link”. Nothing has changed but the name, again to help non-computer-sciency people understand sort of what the devices do at first glance.
Communicator - for communicating
Link - for being an extra link in your mesh cluster
I’ll be re-uploading a lot of videos to YouTube with slight changes, just because of the name change, so sorry if I’m spamming you via YouTube!
