DIY: T-Deck Amped Mesh Communicator
Amp Your T-Deck!
This is a new DIY custom build for a T-Deck ChatterBox communicator with an integrated 1 watt amp, powered by a second onboard battery.
You’ll need a 3D printer and you’ll have to acquire some parts and do a little soldering (not much, just connecting wires).
However, you’ll end up with a handheld, amped communicator that can send and receive across longer distances and with better barrier penetration.
This is Experimental
Do not attempt to build this, unless you know what you are doing!
I cannot comment on how well this device performs compared with others, as I’ve only tested indoors so far.
The testing phase will begin this week, and I’ll publish results on www.altwaredevelopment.com.
