This is a great, inexpensive, ready to use option for a communicator. The case is very durable.

  • 3,000 mA battery for longer usage

  • External well-tuned antenna for better range

  • SMA antenna connector for easy antenna change

  • GPS-enabled

  • Blackout Comms firmware pre-installed & licensed

It does not include a realtime clock, so the device does need to query time from GPS (or a nearby device) upon startup.
